Yum!     		When I am not being crowned as the “Queen of everything” and adored by my loving throng of admirers I enjoy spending time pursuing the quieter side of my life. I enjoy reading, film, television and the occasional venture out with actual “real people”. I live in Buffalo, NY so I spend a great deal of my time being cold. I share my apartment with two fish who are sweet but hard to cuddle up with and my life with my boyfriend who is thankfully also sweet but not hard to cuddle up with.

    Brilliant. Funny. Charming. Beautiful. Sophisticated. And most of all, modest. Humble. Never full of herself. A fan of pro-wrestling and cheesy romance novels, she obviously goes for the finer things in life. She enjoys punk and ska music, pizza, federalism, and cracking bad joke. Dave is a student of philosophy and sociology at McGill University and finds enjoyment in watching film and pop culture. Though his favourite directors are Stanley Kubrick and Martin Scorcese, a character sketch would probably bring him closer to Woody Allen: neurotically deadpan, intermittently insightful and annoying, and attracted to 19-year-old women.

    She was on the Number 9 bus from Montréal - her eyes were drooping. The day had sucked most of the energy from her short self. Orientation for the journalism department had just taken place and she had found out at the last moment that the session was where she hadn't expected it to be: on a campus an extra 20 minutes away (and she was aleady cutting it close). With a long metro ride and a pricey hop in the cab, she got there on time. She awakened unexpectantly. A grumpy old woman was shoving Amy's bag aside to make room for her small frame. "Excusez-moi," Amy said apologetically, and placed her bag on her lap. But the day came with relief: she was officially a university student (sans I.D. - details!) and hey! She got a day off work for her escapade in the city. Better still, she was getting some much-needed shut-eye at the moment.
